Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website. We have aimed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Used a clear heading structure and page landmarks so screen readers can navigate easily.
- Provided a “skip to main content” link and made all functions usable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Chosen colour combinations with enough contrast for text to be read comfortably.
- Built the site to work on phones, tablets and desktops, and to respond to text zoom up to 200%.
- Avoided essential information in images alone, and marked decorative images so assistive technology can skip them.
- Kept movement to a minimum and turned it off for people who have asked their device to reduce motion.
Known limits
We have tested the site ourselves but it has not yet been through an independent accessibility audit. If we find or are told about problems, we will fix them as quickly as we can.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please contact us at Email address to be confirmed. Tell us the page, what went wrong and the device or assistive technology you use. We will aim to reply within five working days.
