Every child has the right to feel safe.
Safeguarding is fundamental to the values and future services of The Lily Tree Group.
Reporting a concern
If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.
For concerns about a child’s safety or welfare, contact the relevant local authority children’s social care service. You can also call the NSPCC helpline on 0808 800 5000. Children and young people can call Childline free on 0800 1111.
We do not currently care for any children, so we are not able to act on safeguarding concerns about a child. Please contact the agencies above.
As our services progress towards registration, we will publish our designated safeguarding contacts, complaints procedures and accessible information for children, families and professionals.
Our commitment
We are committed to developing environments where children and young people are protected from harm, listened to and treated with dignity and respect.
Our safeguarding framework will be developed around:
- safer recruitment
- appropriate training
- risk management
- clear reporting procedures
- professional accountability
- partnership working with statutory agencies
This framework is still being developed. We will not accept any child until it is in place and our registration with Ofsted is complete.
Questions about our approach
If you are a professional who would like to discuss our safeguarding plans, please get in touch. Please do not include identifiable information about a child.
